Job description 10 Month Full Time Position at Wheatley High School follows school calendar Fingerprint clearance is required GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES Supervises children and maintains order in the lunchroom, hallways, or all-purpose room; performs related duties as required. COMPLEXITY OF DUTIES Under general supervision of a teacher or principal, the duties require the exercise of good judgment in the supervision of children and the maintenance of order in the lunchroom, hallways, and all-purpose room. TYPICAL DUTIES 1.Supervises children on a serving line in a lunchroom, in hallways; helps them find seats, and maintains order. 2.Supervises children in the all-purpose room, maintaining order and reporting cases of misbehavior to the proper authority. FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 1.Good general intelligence. 2.Ability to be firm yet courteous with the public. 3.Ability to get along well with children. 4.Some knowledge of first aid methods.5.Good powers of observation.6.Good physical condition. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Training and Experience Ability to read and write; maturity; experience with children desirable.
