We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Tile and Countertop Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. (Willing to train the right person.) Position Overview: The Tile and Countertop Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, offering expert advice on product selection, and ensuring a seamless sales process from start to finish. Including assisting in taking precise measurements and visiting job sites to create accurate estimates. Key Responsibilities: Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers in the showroom, providing detailed information about our products and services. Sales: Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products. Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of our product range, including materials, finishes, and installation processes. Consultation: Offer design and layout advice to customers, helping them choose the best products for their projects. Order Management: Process orders accurately and efficiently, coordinating with the warehouse and delivery teams. Follow-Up: Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any post-sale issues. Market Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to provide informed recommendations. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure a cohesive customer experience. Measurement Skills: Accurately take measurements from drawings to determine the quantity of tiles and slabs needed for orders. Initiative: Take initiative in identifying how to create a smooth and efficient working environment. Self-Starter: Demonstrate a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities, working independently to achieve goals. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the tile, countertop, or home improvement industry. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers. Bilingual a plus! Knowledge: Familiarity with tile and countertop materials, design trends, and installation processes. Technology: Proficiency in using sales software and CRM systems. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in design or a related field is a plus. Attributes: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret drawings and accurately take measurements to order the correct quantity of tiles and slabs. Initiative: Proven ability to take initiative and be a self-starter in a sales environment.
