Retail Merchandiser Part Time (Portland ME)

A retail merchandiser is a field support position at TryAngle Food Sales. You will be a member of our Best-in-Class Retail Team. You will be responsible for an allotment of stores within your area, and follow the protocols set by the Retail Management Team. If warranted and desired, this position is also a pathway to advancement within TryAngle, to positions within our Support or Sales departments. Specific Responsibilities include: · Maintain all merchandising events in assigned territory utilizing company technology to record and execute tasks · Develop customer relationships and communicate customer needs to sales account managers to achieve objectives · Rotate stock, clean and stock display, apply shelf talkers, and complete reports as needed. · Report observations regularly to Retail Manager regarding stock level, out-of-stock situations, point of purchase requirements, and competitive threats · Collaborate with Retail Manager on all major retail initiatives (new product introductions, price promotions, resets, new store openings, special projects, etc.) · Develop and sell all key store personnel on major principal objectives such as brand information, shelf standards, promotional activity, etc. · All other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications for Success Strong relationship building skills Excellent presentation and communication skills Ability to work a flexible schedule Ability to work independently while achieving company standards Job Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license Must have access to a computer and the internet Daily travel within territory and out of state travel as needed Must have access to a credit card for business purchases to be reimbursed monthly Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 29 per week Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Employee assistance program Flexible schedule Mileage reimbursement On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Referral program Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Merchandising: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Ability to Relocate: Portland, ME: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: On the road
