Systems Architect
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Architect II to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This is an onsite position.As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment. Your effort will go towards dramatically increasing the warfighter’s effectiveness. If you enjoy working on a highly collaborative and dynamic team and want to make a difference for the warfighter, then we would love to have you on our team!Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToDesign and implement robust, scalable, and secure software application architecturesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresConduct architectural reviews and provide guidance on best practices and coding standardsEnsure software solutions are aligned with business and technical requirementsProvide technical expertise and direction for projectDevelop architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business linesDevelops strategy of system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategyServe in a variety of technical roles throughout the development lifecycle or operational support with specialty in the area of developing and maintaining enterprise architectureMinimum QualificationsBA/BS degree or High School Diploma and 6 years of additional relevant experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's degree5+ years of Project Management Experience with Agile processes, iterative design, and continuous improvementStrong understanding of software development methodologies and best practicesFamiliarity with DevOps practices and toolsPreferred QualificationsMasters DegreeDemonstrated experience in architecting large scale distributed platformFamiliarity with Big Data Platforms (BDPs)Experience working with government programsClearance RequirementsMust have a current and active Secret clearancePhysical RequirementsThe person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
