Forklift Operator
Summary/Objective: In this role, the Equipment Operator will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse forklifts and electric pallet jacks. This will be done while having materials in place for production, removing finished product, maintaining a clean and safe working environment; including wearing all required PPE, and excellent communication to Co-workers, Operation Leads and Supervisors.Essential Functions:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Complete daily forklift safety inspections, and report any deviations to the Operations LeadEnsures equipment is maintained according to company standards.Operates company equipment in a safe mannerLoading and unloading of tractor-trailer trucks using a forklift, pallet jack, or manually by hand.Operates motorized equipment, including, but not limited to forklift, clamp, (see required certifications), cherry-pickers, motorized pallet jack, etc. to assemble orders and deliver to staging area, done in safe and efficient manner.Reads customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items and quantities to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shippedReceive inbounds. (Offload, count, and label.)Load outbounds.
