1st Shift Solder Assembler

Pay: $19.75 per hour Job description: Temp-to-hire M-Saturday- 1st Shift 4:00am - 12:30pm OT Daily (sometimes until 2:30pm) Job Summary You will be responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components to produce high-quality tools and equipment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Soldering Operations: Perform various types of soldering, including surface mount, through-hole, and hand soldering, to assemble components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other assemblies. Assembly & Inspection: Assemble components according to technical drawings and specifications. Conduct visual and mechanical inspections to ensure conformance to quality standards. Rework & Repair: Identify and correct defects or issues in assemblies using appropriate tools and techniques. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including production counts, materials used, and any issues encountered. Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in soldering preferred. Experience: Previous experience in soldering or electronics assembly is advantageous. Skills: Proficiency in using soldering irons, microscopes, and other hand tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Manual dexterity to handle small components. Capability to lift up to 25 pounds.
