PA Opportunity: Cardiovascular Surgery, ICU/PCU/OR Coverage, NH We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiovascular Surgery for a locum tenens assignment in Rochester, New Hampshire. This role is pivotal in assisting with cardiovascular procedures and delivering exceptional patient care in ICU, PCU, and OR settings. Duration: 9 monthsStart Date: April 1, 2025Schedule: Day shifts: 7 AM ??? 5 PM Overnight call coverage as needed Weekend call: Friday 5 PM ??? Monday 7 AM Key Responsibilities Serve as First Assist in cardiovascular surgeries Perform vein harvesting using the Vasoview Hemopro 2 system Provide comprehensive care in ICU and PCU Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech ecw EMR system Qualifications 3???5 years of experience in cardiovascular surgery, including vein harvesting Current PA licensure in New Hampshire Experience with high-volume cardiac procedures (~450???500 annually) Flexibility to provide on-call coverage This locum tenens role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated PA to work in a dynamic, high-volume cardiovascular surgery environment, assisting in complex procedures and contributing to exceptional patient outcomes.
