Position: Mainframe System Programmer - Infrastructure ManagementLocation: Plano, TXContract Role Job Description:      Must Have Skills:Expertise in performing SMPE and Non SMPE Installation of ISV productsExpertise in IBM and Broadcom Software product Install and UpgradesMastery of zOS system commands, utilities, and automation tools.Nice to have skills:Operating system zOS V2.5 upgrades or later with zOSMF workflow execution.IODF, HCD Skillset to add new devices. Detailed Job Description:Perform standard system programming activities like configuration, installation maintenance using SMPE, and vendor software installations in the mainframe environment.Perform Operating System upgrade and RSU maintenance via zOSMF Workflow.Advanced System Management Architect, install, and configure highly complex zOS environments and third-party software.Support Software Standardization and new Feature implementations.Support other team storage management, performance tuning, capacity planningEducation: At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
