Services are provided in the form of advisory services (specific projects) and outsourced services (interim or fractional roles with clients). Client relationships are overseen by the Client Relationship Manager, a Partner or Managing Director of the company. Work performed by the Project Manager on client engagements may include the following:Lead and manage complex, cross-functional transformation projects from inception through executionDevelop, maintain, and communicate comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestonesServe as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, including senior leaders and executivesFacilitate executive-level presentations, status updates, and steering committee meetingsIdentify project risks, dependencies, and issues; develop and implement mitigation strategiesDrive alignment and accountability across cross-functional teams and workstreamsLead strategic initiatives and support organizational change effortsMonitor project budgets, resource allocation, and overall project healthProactively identify opportunities to provide additional value to clientsConduct post-project reviews and capture lessons learnedVarious ad hoc project-related tasks to drive growth at our clientsNote: This job description is only a summary of the typical functions of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks, and duties. Responsibilities, tasks, and duties of the jobholder might differ from those outlined in the job description and other duties, as assigned, might be required.Required Qualifications and Core Competencies5+ years business or finance experience, including at least 2 years of project management experience leading complex business projects, transformation initiatives, or strategic programsBachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance or a related fieldProven track record managing transformation projects, strategic initiatives, or cross-functional programs (transformation project manager, strategic initiative PM, cross-functional PM experience strongly valued)Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand client operations and communicate business impactStrong communication skills; comfortable engaging with and presenting to C-suite and senior leadersDemonstrated experience in stakeholder management across all levels of an organizationAbility to develop and maintain detailed project plans and keep projects on trackNaturally curious mindset with a passion for learning, problem-solving, and continuous improvementDetail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with clients and internal teamEnjoy working with multiple clients in a variety of industriesMust be able to spend substantial time in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN area for onsite client work as neededPreferred ExperiencePMP certification or equivalent project management credentialExperience as a transformation project manager, strategic initiative PM, or enterprise-wide cross-functional program leadBackground in change management or organizational transformationPrior experience in consulting or contract workExperience working with private equity-backed companiesPosition Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position with some flexibility regarding work schedule and location.FLSA Status: ExemptWork Environment/ TravelThe work is performed on-site at client locations, remotely from home, and at Growth Operators' office in downtown Minneapolis.This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.Travel is primarily local during the business day; some out-of-town and overnight travel is expected.Benefits/Total RewardsGrowth Operators offers a competitive Total Rewards package focusing on your overall wellbeing.
