MRI Technologist Float
The pay range for this position is $30.00-$49.06 based on direct and relevant experience. There is a $5,000 relocation or sign on bonus for this role! RAYUS Radiology is looking for an MRI Tech to join our float team. As a Float MRI Tech, you'll travel to Twin Cities outpatient centers (near you), working with diverse teams, Radiologists, and equipment to expand your skills and experience This position is fulltime working a variety of shifts between the hours of 6:30am-10:30pm, includes float and shift differential pay and mileage (no call); includes weekend rotation. Part-time (30-39 hours per week, benefit eligible) is also available. Willing to train!ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (90%) Patient MRI ImagingScreens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure the correct patient and procedureExplains and prepares patients for MRI procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scannedPerforms routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeated scanned, while providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedureAdjusts MRI scan parameters correctly and as neededFollows physicians' orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, and accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)Maintains an orderly and clean work area including sanitized equipment promoting good safety habits for patients and team membersMaintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects equipment after each useMaintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements(5%) MRI Department SupportAssists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgradesMonitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessaryAssists in the training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable(5%) Completes other tasks as assignedRequired:High School diploma, or equivalentGraduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiographyARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing, depending on State regulations and business needLicensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicableCurrent Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificationMust have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently Certification in imaging specialtyPreferred:BilingualRAYUS is committed to delivering clinical excellence in communities across the U.S., driven by our passion for and superior service to referring providers and patients.
