EQUIPMENT SPECIALISTS STC
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
This position is responsible for the equipment set-up function in large equipment centers (three or more trucks) within an assigned area of the Company’s territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Follows the processes and procedures as defined in the Equipment Set-up operating procedures.
2. Ensures all necessary record processing is executed with any equipment activity in order to track the location of all cold drink equipment.
3. Ensures that all completed EMO’s are correct and distributed to the asset coordinator no later than the morning of the next working day.
4. Checks the EMO on all returned equipment to ensure that the asset number and serial number are correct and places the returned equipment in the assigned section of the center for storage.
5. Ensures that work area is clean and maintains it daily.
6. Maintains parts availability in the set-up area.
7. Participates in the Red Wave training program
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Requires excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Requires ability to read, write and perform basic math functions.
Requires basic knowledge of computer boards.
Requires electrical and mechanical aptitude.
Requires ability to properly use basic power tools.
Requires certification and ability to operate a forklift (company will provide).
Must possess a valid Class D driver’s license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Check according to the Vehicle Safety Policy.
WORKING AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Works extended hours until all necessary work is completed.
Works in warehouse environment.
Exposed to temperature extremes in the warehouse.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lifting:
Ground to Waist Lift (Occasionally) up to 75 pounds (CO2 Tanks)
Pushing/Pulling:
Dynamic pushing/pulling (Frequently) Vendors, Candy Snack Vendor, Cold Machine, Visa Cooler and coffee vendors with cart with up to 500 pounds for up to 500 feet
Dynamic pushing/pulling (Occasionally) sliding equipment
Ambulatory Activity:
Standing/Walking: (Frequently) on variable surfaces throughout entire shift Climbing (Occasionally) step up/down from 4-5 feet platform/step heights
Squatting/Stooping/Kneeling: (Frequently) To as low as ground level while preparing equipment
Use of hand/grasping: (Frequently) Forceful manipulating/grasping of equipment/tools.
Reaching: (Occasionally) Up to 32 inches in front of body at floor to 60” heights while reaching for equipment.
