RLA Teacher

Position Summary* Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the district's curriculum program. Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect an understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned.Position RequirementQualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited universityValid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsementsSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge of core academic subject assignedGeneral knowledge of curriculum and instructionAbility to instruct students and manage their behaviorTerm of Employment: 10 monthsReports to: Building PrincipalSalary: Commensurate with experience and district salary schedule.Closing Date: Open until filled
