Restaurant Assistant Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Staff to join our team. You will be assisting the owner in daily operations, work as a server, and support the line cooks. The ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of managment/food service experience and a passion for hospitality and food service, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties: - Prepare dining areas before guests are seated - Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner - Take food and beverage orders accurately - Serve food and beverages promptly - Ensure guest satisfaction by attending to their needs - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas - Assist in food preparation as needed - Process payments using POS systems -Assist in hiring, training, supervision, and scheduling of FOH staff -Provide cooking/food prep support for line cooks -work week/shifts are Tuesday thru Sunday, days Skills: - Experience in hospitality or food service industry - Knowledge of food safety regulations; Food manager or food safety certificates a plus - Proficiency in food preparation techniques - Previous experience in quick-service or diner food restaurants is beneficial - Ability to manage and work effectively in a team environment - Culinary skills are advantageous - Familiarity with Clover POS or similar systems preferred - Understanding of hospitality management principles This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic Diner environment located in a rural setting.
