Whether you work for HCF or become a resident of HCF, we can promise you one thing; we will treat you like family!About the RoleLicensed Nursing Home Administrator directs the overall operations of the care community in accordance with current local, state and federal regulations governing long-term care in-order to ensure the highest level of quality care is provided to each resident.ResponsibilitiesMust follow HCF Policies and ProceduresMust meet job related competencies as outlined in the Skills Competency ManualGuides care community according to local, state and federal regulationsHires, terminates, evaluates and disciplines all personnel according to HCF policyReviews monthly financial statements to ensure efficiencyEffectively communicates with residents, families, staff, visitors and vendorsEnsures that care community and surrounding grounds are kept in good repairEnsures that adequate staffing is maintained according to state and federal regulationsDirects the QA processTour the building, including all resident rooms, halls, support departments, a minimum of three times per dayMaintains professional competence and keeps abreast of changes in the long-term care professionDelegates administrative authority, responsibility and accountability to other personnel as deemed necessary to ensure performance of all assigned staff positionsAssists in developing outside customer relations while building care community censusPerform other duties as assigned QualificationsMust hold a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college of university.
