Drafter IILocation: Casper, WYDescription:The Draftsman is responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings and documentation that support midstream oil and gas facilities, including pump stations, meter stations, refined product loading terminals, crude oil terminals, and related infrastructure. This role works closely with engineering, operations, integrity, and project management teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and constructible drawings throughout the asset lifecycle. Primary responsibilities will be QA/QC of engineering vendor design and project as-built packages. Managing work orders to update drawings, within the companies drawing management system, with revisions and changes.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed engineering and construction drawings including:Process and Instrumentation DiagramsProcess Flow DiagramsPlot plans and site layoutsIsometricsElectrical and instrumentation layouts (as applicable)Develop and maintain as built drawings based on field changes and redlines.Support capital projects, maintenance activities, and integrity programs with updated drawings and documentation.Ensure drawings comply with:Company drafting standardsIndustry codes and standards (ASME, API, DOT/PHMSA as applicable)Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, inspectors, and field personnel to clarify design intent and resolve discrepancies.Manage drawing revisions and document control in accordance with company procedures.Assist with preparation of drawing packages for:ConstructionPermitting and regulatory submittalsOperations and maintenancePerform field walkdowns when required to verify existing conditions.Maintain accurate records within document management systems.Required Qualifications:Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.3+ years of drafting experience in oil & gas, midstream, or industrial facilities.Proficiency in AutoCADProficiency in CadWorx PlantStrong understanding of:Pipeline systemsP&IDsFacility layoutsAbility to read and interpret engineering specifications, standards, and construction documents.Strong attention to detail and document accuracy.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with:CADWorx Plant Professional, CADWorx P&ID, AutoCAD, or similar toolsECE Designs SocketWorx and DiagramsDOT regulated pipeline systemsLeica RT-360 scanner, and CloudWorxProficiency in Autodesk NavisworksFamiliarity with asset integrity, mechanical integrity, or MOC processes.Experience working in a midstream operating environment.Knowledge of document control and drawing management systems.Core Competencies:Safety focused mindsetStrong organizational and time management skillsEffective communication with technical and non technical teamsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesTeam oriented with the ability to work independentlyWork Environment:Office based role with occasional field visits to active oil and gas facilities across the whole pipeline networkMust adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
