Desktop Support Technician
Job Title: IT PC Refresh TechnicianDuration: 12-Months ContractLocation: Elma, NY 14059 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | OnsiteKey ResponsibilitiesDeploy, install, and configure PCs, laptops, and accessories Perform hardware refresh activities including system swaps and setup Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printing, and application issues Provide Level 2 technical support to end users Support Windows and Mac OS environments Install and support endpoint software and applications Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate technical teams Maintain accurate documentation and ticket updates within the ITSM system Assist users with technical guidance, policies, and procedures Provide occasional after-hours support for emergencies or maintenance activities Required Qualifications1–2 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or desktop support Experience installing and configuring computer systems and software Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience using service desk or remote support tools such as Bomgar Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong time management and organizational abilities High school diploma or equivalent required Preferred QualificationsIT certifications such as: CompTIA A+ CompTIA Network+
