Neonatology Opportunity at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital EvansvillePeyton Manning Children's Hospital Evansville is seeking a full-time, motivated neonatologist to join our exceptional team at our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.What You Will DoPeyton Manning Children's Hospital Evansville is seeking a full time motivated neonatologist to join our exceptional team at our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.About the Opportunity:Care for critically ill newborns in a state-of-the-art Level III NICUUtilize advanced capabilities including therapeutic hypothermia, jet ventilation, high-frequency oscillatory ventilation, and neurally adjusted ventilatory assist (NAVA)Currently in-house call with 5 neonatologists, transitioning to a model with overnight nurse practitioner coverage with neonatologist at home callExcellent pediatric subspecialty support from hospital-based pediatric cardiologists, gastroenterologists, neurologists, and other specialistsComprehensive OB service including MFM program, OB Clinic, and in house OB hospitalistsDedicated, highly-trained NICU nurses, respiratory therapists, dietitians, speech therapists, Physical and Occupational Therapists.Participate in QI projects, as well as intermittent education of medical and physician assistant studentsThe Ideal Candidate:Fellowship trained in Neonatal-Perinatal MedicineExcellent clinical, communication, and team-based skillsCommitment to family-centered, evidence-based careBC/BE in Neonatal-Perinatal MedicineAbout PMCH Evansville:Regional perinatal center with around 1,400 deliveries annuallySpecially-trained obstetric emergency teams and maternal-fetal medicine physiciansState-of-the-art labor/delivery/recovery suite (newly renovated in 2024)Supportive, family-centered environmentPediatric Services at PMCH Evansville:32 Bed NICU with a full team of dedicated RNs, RTs, Dietitians, OT, PT and speech therapists15 bed Pediatric Inpatient Unit with Pediatric Hospitalists7 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with Pediatric IntensivistsLevel II Pediatric Trauma VerificationDedicated NICU Transport Team7 bed Emergency Room area dedicated for children with dedicated providersEstablished Pediatric Specialty Clinic including full-time GI and part time neurologist, pulmonologist, endocrinologist, dedicated pediatric registered dietitian and integrated pediatric psychologists.Full time pediatric cardiologist.Monthly pediatric hematology and orthopedic clinics.Sleep Disorders ClinicBehavioral based outpatient Feeding ProgramOutpatient Behavioral Health Program with pediatric psychologists and LCSWsOutpatient Family Navigators to ensure continuity of careOutpatient Pediatric Therapy Program (OT, PT Speech)Pediatric Dental ClinicRonald McDonald House on campusLive, Work, Play in Evansville:Located on the Ohio River in southwest Indiana, Evansville offers an affordable cost of living, excellent schools, abundant outdoor recreation, and cultural amenities including museums, performing arts, sports, and dining.
