Job Title Corporate Banking Associate – Citibank, N.A. (New York, NY)
Responsibilities
Produce written summary reports of financial research results.
Partner with Senior Bankers to provide overall relationship management support.
Participate in client transactions, projects, or assignments.
Research and develop analytical tools to address portfolio construction, optimization, performance measurement, attribution, profit and loss measurement, and pricing models.
Assist with day‑to‑day cash management activities, trading initiatives, vendor finance, foreign exchange, loan activity, debt capital markets efforts, share repurchase, and interest rate/equity derivatives.
Support Bankers in cross‑selling the full spectrum of products and services by identifying customer needs to generate revenue.
Evaluate public filings, research reports, operations, business plans, and financial forecasts to produce strategic and financial analyses.
Stay abreast of market and industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape.
Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, safeguard Citigroup’s reputation, and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Follow policy, apply ethical judgment in personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and report control issues transparently.
Maintain a telecommuting/hybrid work schedule in compliance with Citi policies when within commutable distance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field, and five (5) years of relevant experience in monitoring credit quality across portfolios and preparing risk reports, or a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and three (3) years of experience.
Experience running large Leveraged Buyout transactions and outlining financial and business risk profiles.
Experience cross‑selling across the bank’s financial product suite and generating revenue.
Assisting with cash management, trading, vendor finance, foreign exchange, loan activity, debt capital markets, share repurchase, and interest rate/equity derivatives.
Performing industry and economic research and financial modeling to evaluate credit profiles.
Utilizing investment systems including FactSet, S&P Capital IQ, S&P Ratings Direct, SEC Filings, and Bloomberg.
Working with large financial data sets to create actionable insights and business reviews for senior bankers and management.
Four‑tenured hours per week (40 hrs./wk).
Salary
$165,000.00 to $165,000.00 per year. In addition to base salary, Citi may offer discretionary and formulaic incentive awards and retention awards.
Location & Hours
New York, NY, USA. Full‑time. Telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within commutable distance from the worksite.
