Production Technician For Chemical Process A Production Technician for Chemical Process is accountable for processing customer parts per customer requirements while maintaining quality inspections and meeting production rate requirements.Key Accountabilities | Results Expected To AchieveMeet or exceed organizational goals for safety, quality, cost and deliveryMeet or exceed expectations regarding the organization's attendance policyKey Responsibilities | Tasks You Do To Achieve The AccountabilitiesEnsures company standards for safety, quality and customer satisfaction are met or exceededContinuously monitor each step of the passivation process for quality of partsResponsible for start-up of degrease jobsCommunicate with other technicians within department to share needed information throughout workdayResponsible for visually monitoring tasks and communicating issues with the Chemical Process ManagerMaintain a clean line, free of clutter. Store equipment properlyNotify Chemical Process Manager of any necessary maintenance repairs that are neededProperly complete required paperworkMaintain a clean, neat and organized work areaKeep up to date with required trainings within the LMS systemFollow proper safety procedures such as wearing Personal Protective Equipment including safety glasses, gloves, respirators or other as neededOther duties as assignedMust be able to work 6:30am to 3:00pm Monday through FridayQualities For SuccessDemonstrates Arrow Finishing Core ValuesHigh school diploma or GED equivalentMust be a Citizen of the United States of America or have a current Green CardGeneral knowledge of CP terminologyStrong attention to detail to ensure safety and qualityGeneral computer skills and the ability to work with basic computer programsAbility to balance workload effectively and stay organizedAbility to read and understand processes, procedures, and instructionsAbility to work and collaborate with others respectfully and professionallyAbility to be dependable and punctual, work overtime as neededPhysical RequirementsLift up to 20 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. on occasionAbility to use hand tools requiring using fine dexterity and precisionStanding, sitting, walking, stooping, and bending for 8 hours as the position requiresAbility to withstand occasional odorsWork EnvironmentThis position location is on the production floor. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and could be exposed to chemical or electrical shock risk.
