Location: Monroe Township, NJ Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-TimePractice Setting: Outpatient We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with a strong focus on musculoskeletal care to join a growing outpatient practice. Position Highlights Outpatient-Focused Practice Strong emphasis on non-surgical orthopedic care Opportunity to perform office-based image-guided procedures Collaborative, multidisciplinary care environment Utilize advanced diagnostic technologies including ultrasound and fluoroscopy Flexible full-time or part-time schedule Key Responsibilities Clinical Evaluation & Diagnosis • Evaluate and diagnose musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions• Perform comprehensive orthopedic and neuromuscular examinations• Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory studies• Utilize diagnostic ultrasound as appropriate for evaluation and guidance Treatment Planning & Medical Management • Develop personalized, non-surgical treatment plans• Prescribe medications and pain management strategies consistent with best practices• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical outcomes Procedural & Office-Based Interventions • Perform image-guided injections and interventional procedures• Conduct procedures using fluoroscopy and ultrasound guidance• Provide extracorporeal shockwave therapy for appropriate musculoskeletal conditions• Collaborate with staff to ensure safe and efficient procedural workflows Care Coordination & Referrals • Coordinate care with physical therapy, rehabilitation, and chiropractic services• Refer patients to subspecialists or surgical services when necessary• Work closely with allied health professionals to ensure continuity of care Patient Education & Follow-Up • Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, and recovery expectations• Provide counseling on injury prevention and long-term musculoskeletal health• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Qualifications Required • MD or DO from an accredited medical school• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery• Active and unrestricted NJ medical license• DEA eligibility for controlled substance prescribing• Demonstrated experience managing musculoskeletal conditions Core Competencies • Advanced musculoskeletal diagnostic expertise• Proficiency with image-guided procedures• Patient-centered clinical decision-making• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary outpatient environment• Strong documentation and organizational skills Work Environment • Outpatient orthopedic practice• Office-based procedures utilizing fluoroscopy and diagnostic ultrasound• Fast-paced clinical setting with diverse musculoskeletal cases• Collaborative team focused on quality care and patient outcomes
