Machine Operator/Assembler

\*\*\*THIS IS AN _*AFTERNOON SHIFT*_ OPPORTUNITY!\*\*\* *Shift schedule: 4:15pm - 2:45am (Monday-Friday)* We are seeking an *AFTERNOON SHIFT* Machine Operator/Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating various industrial equipment, assembling components, and ensuring the production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be reliable and most importantly, have a commitment to safety and precision. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment on our *AFTERNOON SHIFT* focused on innovation and quality. *Responsibilities* * Assemble components using hand tools, robotic systems, and other industrial equipment, ensuring accuracy in alignment and fit * Pack parts according to packaging specifications * Conduct quality inspections utilizing dimensional measurements and precision measuring instruments to verify product specifications meet standards. * Handle materials safely using forklifts and material handling equipment within warehouse and production areas * Follow detailed work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process. * Work with team members to improve operational efficiency, communicating effectively and escalating downtime concerns per procedure * Maintain a clean, organized workspace. Housekeeping is part of our safety procedures! * Ability to do basic math required for reporting production numbers, calculating scrap and packaging counts. * Must be able to work at a steady pace throughout the shift *Experience* * Prior work in a manufacturing environment (metals experience preferred) * Experience with materials handling using forklifts or warehouse management systems is preferred. * Mechanical aptitude complemented by basic math skills for measurements and calculations. * Ability to utilize hand tools effectively for assembly tasks and perform precise measurements for quality control. * Following procedures required for safety and quality, meeting production team goals If you are passionate about manufacturing excellence and thrive in a safety-conscious environment, we encourage you to apply!
