Pack Leader at Dog DayCare & Boarding Playhouse

IMPORTANT: We are looking for a pack leaders for a very specific shift: Sunday & Mondays : 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (12 hour shifts) Woof-Tastic Playhouse wants to hire you! We, Sid & Lily Roa have owned/Operated Woof-Tastic Playhouse for over 14 years. We believe that all dogs deserve the best that life can offer. Play, rest, treats and play some more! We are a dog's home away from home. We are looking for a passionate, full-time team member who understands the responsibility of caring for other people's "children". Your main job duties will entail supervising active, playful dogs all day, customer service, and ensuring a safe, clean daycare facility. This is a high energy, active position and you WILL get dirty, but it's also very rewarding career for those who LOVE working with dogs. ENTRY LEVEL POSITION $15.95/ HOUR Basic requirements for Woof-Tastic Playhouse employees include: HS graduate or equivalent All applicants must be at least 18 years of age Ability to work weekends and holidays. (We are busiest during major holidays) Love for ALL dogs and the smells, sounds, and silly behavior that comes with them! Communication skills: Teamwork is required Ability to complete required tasks in sometimes adverse conditions Punctuality and reliability. We expect our employees to be on time - No excuses Ability to closely follow instructions and complete tasks independently Ability to be on your feet for a 5+ hour shift, minus your break(s) Ability to learn and independently operate tools such as vacuums, floor cleaners, washer/ dryer Ability to learn and utilize technology such as tablet and PC computers, digital cameras, and our client booking portal Ability to lift 50 pounds with no restrictions Maintain a clean and organized workspace Adhere to and embrace our operational, health, safety, sanitization, and security policies/procedures Energetic and enthusiastic attitude, including the delivery of exceptional service to both our 4-legged and 2-legged clients Able to build relationships, work as part of a team and have strong interpersonal skills Must pass criminal background check Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $15.95 per hour Expected hours: No less than 23 per week Benefits: Employee discount Supplemental Pay: Tips Work Days: Holidays Weekends as needed Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Work Location: In person
