As a market leader in our industry, we are looking for someone with a competitive edge to help drive a can-do collaborative culture.Position Summary:The Manufacturing Operations Planner position's primary responsibility is managing daily systems, processes and procedures governing the end-to-end process for planning and scheduling production that supports our quality, cost, and order fulfillment requirements. This position will also track sales orders, monitor inventory levels, as well as monitor metrics and audit processes. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Lead production planning for three Meltblown assets and oversee all planning activitiesMentor the Planner role and provide backup support for Planning and Purchasing as neededDevelop and manage cost-effective production schedules that meet customer demandCommunicate demand or schedule issues to customer service, supply chain, operations, and managementOptimize production sequences to maximize asset utilization and minimize delaysSupport continuous improvement in production, distribution, and logistics processesManage WIP and finished goods inventory strategies to meet cost and service goalsCommunicate schedule changes and BOM updates to operatorsRepresent planning on cross-functional projects, including ERP/NetSuite updates and new product/customer initiativesParticipate in interviews, performance reviews, and advancement discussionsPromote and enforce safe work practicesManage NetSuite transactions to maintain planning efficiencyContribute to achieving daily and monthly planning and customer service metricsMonitor workflow, identify inefficiencies, reduce costs, and take corrective actionPartner with HR to resolve personnel issues when necessaryWork independently with strong motivation and a positive, solution-focused attitudeCapable of light physical activity and extended periods of sitting or standingOrganized, analytical, creative, and adaptable in problem-solvingAssist in resolving supply chain issues through collaborationProficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePointTrack, report, and manage projects from initiation through completionParticipate in ongoing training and developmentPerform additional duties as requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:3-5 years of experience in a Planner or similar roleStrong track record of successful planningAble to work independently and manage multiple projectsExcellent communication skills with a focus on timely, complete updatesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilitiesSkilled in facilitating small group discussionsAble to hold team members accountableEffective at prioritizing, meeting deadlines, and managing time with minimal supervisionProvides constructive feedback to colleaguesResponds to internal and external customers with urgencyProactive in improving customer satisfaction and company profitabilityReliable team player committed to continuous improvementProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and standard logistics softwareStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsEnjoys working in a collaborative team environmentWork Relationship and Scope:Reports to the Supply Chain Director. Works closely with the Planner, Supply Chain, and all other colleagues at FyterTech to accomplish established goals.
