Behavioral Health Clinician (LCSW, LMSW-cc, LCPC, LCPC-c)Behavioral Health Professional

MC Community Services is looking for a licensed clinician to join our outpatient therapy practice. You'll carry a caseload of children and adults, providing individual and family therapy. Your work will be supported by a team that has been delivering community-based services to many of the same families you'll be treating, giving you a fuller picture of each member's life than most outpatient clinicians get.What you'll doConduct Comprehensive Assessments — integrated evaluations of each member's medical and psycho-social needs, including screening for co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions, using current DSM diagnostic criteriaProvide individual, family, and group therapy for children and adults using evidence-based practicesCollaborate with staff, families, schools, and other providers as part of a treatment teamHelp shape a growing clinical team — contribute to peer consultation, case collaboration, and how we support each other clinicallyApply Trauma Informed Care principles across all service deliveryMaintain clinical documentation in compliance with MaineCare requirementsWhat we're looking forFully licensed (LCSW, LCPC): Higher end of pay range. Clinical independence with support from leadership, not micromanagement.Conditionally licensed (LMSW-cc, LCPC-c): Welcome to apply. We provide clinical supervision toward full licensure at no cost to you.Our Clinical Director holds an LCSW, LADC, and CCS and will serve as your supervisor. You'll have direct access to leadership, flexible scheduling, and a voice in how services are delivered.Minimum qualificationsMaster's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related fieldActive Maine licensure: LCSW, LCPC, LMSW-cc, or LCPC-cValid driver's license and reliable transportation (community-based travel required)Knowledge of trauma-informed care practicesAbility to serve members with co-occurring mental health and substance use conditionsPreferredExperience with MaineCare documentation and billingBackground in behavioral health, developmental disabilities, family therapy, or adult mental healthFamiliarity with Section 28 or Section 65 service deliveryTraining in evidence-based modalities (CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc)Who we areMC Community Services is a licensed Mental Health Agency contracted with the Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and enrolled as a MaineCare provider. We've been providing behavioral health services to children, adults, and families in the greater Lincoln area since 2009, delivering rehabilitative community support services under Section 28 and outpatient behavioral health services under Section 65 across Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Washington counties.We're a small, locally owned agency.
