We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Marine Technician to join our team in Jackson, MS, and help us continue our tradition of excellence.Position SummaryThe Marine Technician delivers an exceptional service experience for all customers by performing high-quality maintenance and repair work at a fair price, while adhering to customer time frames. This position plays a key role in ensuring that every boat leaving our shop is lake-ready and performing at its best.Responsibilities And Duties Diagnose, service, and repair inboards, I/O’s, and outboards both in the shop and on the waterPerform scheduled maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, winterizations, and summerizationsComplete repairs and installations such as:Fuel system cleaningEngine and outdrive R&RCustom stereo, jack plates, and tower installationsLake test boats to verify functionality, diagnose issues, and confirm successful repairsCommunicate effectively with the Service Coordinator regarding diagnostics, parts needs, and repair progressMaintain accurate time and service recordsKeep work area and tools clean, organized, and in proper working conditionAssist with boat show preparation and move-in as neededAttend manufacturer and service training annually to maintain certifications Experience and QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)Boating experience and a valid boater’s license are preferred2+ years of experience in marine or automotive service preferredAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periodsStrong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a customer-first attitude.
