Fluency in English and strong analysis skills are essential for success in this position.Job Title: Electro-Mechanical TechnicianReports To: Maintenance ManagerPrimary Work Location: Rocky Mount, VirginiaHours: 6:00AM - 3:30PMResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systemsTroubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues using schematics and technical manualsOperate and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimetersMaintain and update maintenance records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)Repair or replace components including high voltage electrical parts, low voltage controls, and HVAC/R systemsConduct inspections of machinery to identify potential failures or safety hazardsAssist with field service activities and support manufacturing operations during production shiftsUtilize field tools such as scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely and effectivelyFollow schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate repairs and installationsSupport technical sales teams by providing expertise on mechanical systems when neededSkillsExtensive experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing facilitiesStrong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding ( welding), and schematics interpretationProficiency with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reportingAbility to operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safelyFamiliarity with analysis tools for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issuesExcellent mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial mechanics and maintenance proceduresStrong customer service orientation when collaborating with internal teams or external clientsEffective communication skills in English for documentation and teamwork purposesExperience working in military environments or with industrial electrician backgrounds is a plus
