Magswitch Automation CompanyApply for this PositionPosted on 10/16/2025LocationChicago, ILDescriptionJob Purpose: Drive Sales of Magswitch automation products through Major Account relationships and solutions-based sales strategies.Qualities For SuccessOutgoing, aggressive, experienced relationship managerHas existing relationships in the local marketsWillingness to travelAbility to grow sales, not simply take ordersDevelop a clearly defined sales plan and strategyPositive, proactive, and “can-do” attitudeMajor Duties & ResponsibilitiesEssential DutiesDrive sales of Magswitch Automation products through forming high level relationships.Identify, contact, and build rapport with major new customer targets by leveraging existing networks and referrals.Responsible for growing sales in the geographic territory.Identify multiple opportunities and solutions when visiting Customer’s facilities, generating repeat businessStrong knowledge and use of Salesforce Einstein to track and evaluate Sales and to generate Management Sales reportsEmbrace and leverage the use of AI to facilitate the sales process and generate sales leadsInform Operations of inventory requirements based on active sales opportunities and probabilities.Analyzing sales metrics to determine whether current sales strategies are effective.Conducting in-depth research on competitors' products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests.Analyzing Industry Trends to identify solution gaps and improve product linesTravelling up to 60% (predominantly within 3 hour drive)Skills/QualificationsMinimum Skills & AbilitiesAbility to quickly absorb and understand technical information relating to Industrial automation and magnetic technology.Ability and confidence in selling solutions and value to the customerProven Account Management experience.Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications as well as CRM and ERP software.
