Your role is to keep equipment running efficiently, maintain quality standards, and quickly troubleshoot minor issues to minimize downtime.You will work closely with Senior Process Technicians and other team members to keep production moving and continuously improve our manufacturing process.Manufacturing equipment is automated and you will monitor the production line to ensure continuity in the production process, identify system issues for resolution and reset alarms as required.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate production equipment safely and efficientlyTroubleshoot routine mechanical or process issuesPerform preventative maintenance on equipmentMonitor product quality and identify issuesCommunicate equipment or production concerns to team leadersMaintain a clean and safe work environmentCrosstrain on other equipment within the production areaParticipate in training through the VMC Progression ProgramQualifications1-2 years of stable manufacturing or warehouse experience preferredAbility to operate or learn to operate Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipmentMechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilityAbility to follow work instructions and production specificationsAbility to distinguish a full range of colorBasic computer and Office application skills. SAP experience preferred.Basic to intermediate math computationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand or walk for long periodsAbility to lift or move up to 40 poundsAbility to work around industrial equipment and noise (hearing protection provided)Ability to climb ladders and consistently work at varying heightsWork EnvironmentFast-paced noisy production environment using hearing protectionClimate-controlled manufacturing facilityOvertime and weekend work may be required
