Our center is offers a self-learning system for elementary, middle school and 9th grade school students. Open Position: Math & English Instructor (Part-time) We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable part-time Math & English Teacher/tutor for elementary, middle school and 9th grade students at our JEI Learning Center in Mercerville, NJ. Qualification and other conditions: Must have Math teaching experience (more than 1 year) All levels of Math from Pre-K to Algebra 1 and Geometry. Able to work well and to be patient with children Please submit resume Teaching certification, current college student or tutoring background Center Operation Hours: From 4:00pm to 8:00pm Monday to Thursday. Essential Job Functions: Tutor 1-5 students in a class setting. Be knowledgeable of our center curriculum and follow our policies with regards to teaching the concepts and reviewing the material. Monitor and record student progress on a daily basis as well and conduct summative "checks" on the lesson objectives taught that week. Must be able to participate in the planning, organization, implementation and coordination of individual pupil and/or client programs. A team player, detail-oriented, flexible, consistent and reliable, able to work under only minimal supervision. Adhere to estabilished teaching curriculum (Curriculum will be provided along with all teaching materials).
