The Black Mountain Center for the Arts is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help bring our exclusive First Bloom evening event to life — a fragrant, elegant sneak peek at Art in Bloom 2026's stunning floral installations.Whether you're helping set the scene, welcoming guests, or wrapping up a beautiful evening, you'll be behind the scenes of one of Black Mountain's most beloved arts events.What You'll Do:Set up the refreshment and dessert display and prepare the gallery spaceGreet guests and check tickets at the doorCirculate refreshments and assist guests throughout the eveningHelp with cleanup and breakdown at the end of the nightRequirements:Volunteer waiver and emergency contact form (completed before your shift)Attendance at the June 15 Volunteer Gathering is encouragedYou're a Great Fit If You:Love people and enjoy creating a warm, welcoming atmosphereAre comfortable on your feet for a few hoursCan lift up to 15 lbs. (set-up and breakdown volunteers)Attire: Dressy casual — spring colors and florals are always welcome!
