Dairy Queen Shift LeaderA Dairy Queen Shift Lead supports restaurant operations by leading the team during assigned shifts, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining food quality and cleanliness standards. This role acts as a key point of support for the management team and helps keep shifts running smoothly.Competitive pay rate with a raise after 90 days, Daily Pay access, discounted gas, free drinks & food discounts, 401K, referral bonuses, & so much more!Job Duties and Responsibilities:Lead and support team members during assigned shiftsEnsure guests receive fast, friendly, and accurate serviceAssist with training and coaching new team membersMonitor food quality, presentation, and order accuracyEnsure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company policiesAssign tasks and manage workflow to meet service goalsHandle cash drawers, deposits, and basic shift paperworkAddress guest concerns and resolve issues professionallyMaintain cleanliness of the restaurant and work areasAssist with opening and closing procedures as neededKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation.Good customer service and communication skills.Ability to learn and follow company procedures.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Strong time management and organizational skills.Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude.Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.Education and Experience:Previous quick-service or food service experienceWorking environment and physical requirements:Must be able to stand during the entire work shift.Must be able to work in a cooler at a temperature of 35 degrees for up to 30 minutes.Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Must be able to tolerate gas fumes and cleaning products.Must be able to climb a ladder to clean windows.Must be able to travel up to 10%At-Will Employment: This position is at-will, which means that either the employee or the Company may terminate employment at any time, with or without advance notice, and with or without cause.EEO Statement: Refuel is an equal opportunity employment employer to all applicants and team members.
