Additionally, we manage complementary strategies in trade finance, liquid markets and special situations, each underpinned by the same investment discipline and conviction-based philosophy.ROLE OVERVIEWGemcorp is seeking a Senior Associate Business Development to expand its Family Office and Wealth Manager investor base across North America. This is a true origination role, responsible for sourcing, developing, and advancing relationships with RIA's, Single and Multi‑Family Offices, UHNW platforms, Private Banks, and Wealth Managers.The role requires an individual who is both commercially driven and execution‑oriented. The successful candidate will originate investor relationships and drive engagement, while also remaining hands‑on with DDQs, RFPs, and investor documentation to ensure opportunities progress efficiently from first conversation through to investment.Given the nature of the investor base, the role requires active FINRA Broker‑Dealer registration, with Series 7 and Series 63 licenses held at the time of hire. Final deal execution and closing will be done in close partnership with the Head of Sales, but with clear accountability for origination and progression of opportunities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOrigination & Relationship DevelopmentProactively originate and develop relationships with Family Offices, Wealth Managers, Private Banks, RIAs, and UHNW intermediaries across North AmericaBuild and execute a targeted coverage strategy, identifying key decision‑makers and influencersDrive door‑opening activity, including outreach, meetings, conferences, and relationship mappingAct as a primary relationship owner from initial engagement through diligence and investmentSales Process Ownership & Opportunity ManagementOwn and manage the Family Office / Wealth sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are actively progressed and accurately trackedMaintain disciplined follow‑up, internal coordination, and momentum across live opportunitiesPrepare investor updates, pipeline reporting, and briefing materials for senior leadershipPartner closely with the Head of Sales on deal strategy, structuring, and final executionDDQs, RFPs & Investor Documentation (Hands‑On)Personally lead and execute DDQs, RFPs, and ad‑hoc investor requests, with input from internal teamsTranslate institutional‑grade investment strategies into clear, compliant, and compelling materials suitable for private wealth audiencesCoordinate inputs from Investment, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teamsMaintain and update pitch decks, factsheets, and investor FAQs tailored to Family Office and Wealth clientsSKILLS, EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTESExperience in business development, capital raising, or investor relations, with direct exposure to Family Offices, Wealth Managers, RIAs, or Private Banking platformsDemonstrated ability to originate and grow investor relationships within the private wealth ecosystemHands‑on experience with DDQs, RFPs, and investor documentation — comfortable owning execution as well as originationStrong understanding of private markets or alternative investment strategiesHighly organised, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a lean, high‑accountability environmentREGULATORY & CONDUCT EXPECTATIONSActive FINRA Broker‑Dealer registration requiredSeries 7 license – mandatorySeries 63 license – mandatoryExperience operating within a FINRA‑regulated environment, with strong understanding of marketing and distribution rules applicable to private investmentsGemcorp Capital builds high‑performing investment teams through diversity of thought and experience.
