OverviewJob Title: Neurologist (In-Office)Location: Bronx, New YorkA growing medical practice in the Bronx is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Neurologist to join its team. This is a primarily outpatient, clinic-based role focused on diagnosing and treating neurological conditions, managing patient care, and performing EMG studies. The practice offers strong clinical support, a stable schedule, and competitive compensation. New graduates are welcome to apply, and candidates with EMG fellowship training are preferred.Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $300,000Performance Incentive Potential: Up to approximately $340,000 total compensationInitial Employment Structure: First 3 months as a 1099 contractor, transitioning to employed statusHealth Insurance: 100% employer-paid for the physician; 50% employer contribution for family coverageRetirement: Pension/retirement plan available after 1 year of employmentMalpractice Insurance: Covered by the practicePaid Time Off: 1 week PTO, 2 weeks vacation, 5 days CMEWork ScheduleClinic Hours: Typically 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PMLocation: Bronx, NYPatients Per Day: Approximately 20 patients per dayPractice Type: Outpatient clinic settingCall Schedule1 weekend per month (phone coverage only)1 weekday per week call coverageNo additional compensation for callClinical ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive outpatient neurological careEvaluate and diagnose neurological disordersDevelop and manage patient treatment plansConduct neurological examinations and assessmentsManage chronic neurological conditionsPerform and interpret Electromyography (EMG) studies (approximately 3–4 per day)Order and review diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT scans, and lab workCollaborate with primary care physicians and specialists for coordinated patient careMaintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the EMR systemProvide patient education regarding neurological conditions and treatmentsPractice SupportPhysician Assistant (PA) support availableAdministrative and clinical staff assist with patient flowEMR: Medgen (subject to change)QualificationsMD or DO degreeBoard Eligible or Board Certified in NeurologyEMG fellowship training preferredAbility to diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditionsStrong communication and patient care skillsNew graduates are encouraged to apply #J-18808-Ljbffr
