Swim Instructors (Part-time)Shift Needed:Saturday mornings 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ($11.00 per hour to start for Saturdays) Tuesday evenings 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday evenings 5-7 p.m. Thursday evenings 6-7 p.m.Pay Rate: No experience- $10.50 to start $12-$15/hr. for certified instructors (must be 16 to be certified)The Y is a leading non-profit for strengthening community, and the nations longest provider of swim lessons to increase skill and safety in and around water. This position provides direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for students in swimming classes.Minimum age 15 years old - with swimming experience Lifeguard Certification is preferred Certifications a plus CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Basic First Aid Must be able to demonstrate swim instructor skills in accordance with YMCA Standards- swim 4 of the 6 strokes in good form.
