Short DescriptionBridge the gap between clinician and patient, by providing individual support and assistance in navigating the health care system to provide continuity of care. Working with current RN Navigator disease team to provide non-clinical support regarding scheduling, pre cert process, follow up calls and record retrieval for timely appointments Call new patients within 24 hours of visit to CCI to check in regarding follow up appointments and needs.Experience RequiredExperience working in a healthcare office setting, or community outreach and education required. Knowledge of health care, inpatient/outpatient settings, Oncology specific patient populationStrong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work well with people of various backgrounds, ethnicities, and life experiences.Ability to take direction, follows through with tasks, and work independently.Flexibility, optimism, and a cooperative working style.Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent; clinical training (i.e. MA, CNA, LPN) a plus.Special RequirementsFluency in Spanish preferred.Competent in basic computer skills; knowledge of using an electronic health records system preferred.Hourly Rate Min $20Hourly Rate Max $31The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.Cooper University Health Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to equal employment opportunity for all team members.
