Warehouse Associate

Summary:The Warehouse Associate will play a key role in receiving, organizing, and shipping fasteners and related components. The candidate will have a strong attention to detail and accuracy, given the wide variety of sizes and specifications in inventory.Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities(Include the following; however, other duties may apply.)· Receive, inspect, and stock incoming fasteners and hardware components.· Pick and pack orders, based on customer specifications.· Accurately label and prepare products for shipment.· Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.· Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and a forklift.· Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts· Adherent to safety procedures and company policies, always· All other duties as assignedWork Environment:This is a physically demanding job, with consistent heavy lifting, in a non-climate-controlled environment.Supervisory Responsibilities:This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. The HR Business Partner provides support and guidance to employees and supervisors, collaborating with HR leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or Experience:· High school diploma or equivalent· 1 – 2 years of previous warehouse experience (experience in the fastener or industrial supply industry a plus)· Basic math and measurement skills· Ability to lift to 50lbs. and stand for extended periods of time· Strong attention to detail and accuracy· Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to become certified within first three months)· Team-oriented, with good communication skills· Self-starter, with a great attitude and willingness to learnLanguage Skills:The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.Reasoning Ability:Strong reasoning, mathematics, and measurement are required.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
