Our ALL IN culture includes a focus on Safety, Wellness, Learning, Diversity and Inclusion, and giving back to our Communities.ADB is seeking a Designer, Electrical to prepare underground and overhead electrical line designs for various utility construction projects. This position will work closely with construction, engineering, internal team members, and customers to ensure that safe and accurate construction designs are created for construction project completion. The ideal candidate will be customer and quality centric focused, with a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Walk out underground and overhead construction sites to identify the best design routes for new utility placementsPrepares construction drawings based on project requirementsOpen existing electrical equipment and document current field conditionsPerform detailed calculations to establish design standards and specifications make corrections when neededInspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance w/ design and equipment specifications and safety standardsRegular interaction with the public and homeowners regarding design needs for current and future construction projectsAbility to prepare and present designs to internal leadership, team members, external customers, etc.Performs other duties as assigned by leadershipSUCCESS FACTORS:100% Travel Ability NationwideA strong belief in ZERO- Being Safe 100% of the time is the expectationAlignment with company mission, vision, and valuesStrong team player with the ability to adapt to diverse team membersAbility to perform in a fast-paced work environmentA high level of time management, accountability, and prioritization skillsSelf-motivated, goal- oriented, and driven to accomplish department goalsAbility to be organized, problem solve, and be solution orientedAbility to support a fast paced, demanding work schedule; could include late evenings and/or weekends when requestedHigh level of professionalism, ability to clearly communicate with external customers and internal leadership on a regular basis • Proficient Microsoft Office 365 KnowledgeBasic level knowledge of Engineering programs: AutoCAD, DOJM, Max Span, Conductor SAG, Guing Calculation, Spida Calc, Google Earth Pro, Etc. PreferredWORK ENVIRONMENT:Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, like sitting, squatting, standing, walking, and drivingThis position operates out of corporate headquarters in an office environment, located at 18777 US Highway 66 Pacific, MO 63069.This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, projectors, copy/fax, and smartphones.This job operates in a professional office environmentEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:0-3 Years of Design Engineering ExperienceTelecom and Electric experience preferredConstruction industry experience a plusHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredThe starting pay for this position is $28.00/hr and may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.ADB Companies, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
