Join us and start your extraordinary journey today.Position SummaryThe Leasing Associate position is responsible for the leasing, marketing and maintaining positive resident relations. Leasing Associates handle the signing of leases, and act as a landlord for property owners.ResponsibilitiesRespond to telephone and internet inquiries from residents and prospects to schedule virtual, self-guided, and in-person toursGreet and qualify prospects professionally using guest cards in our Lead Management Software. Assist prospects with applications and deposits, adhering to company procedures and Fair Housing requirementsKeep an updated availability report, process applications with credit checks and rental history verification, then submit them for processingCommunity Manager approval and follow up with applicants on their statusShow apartments and close sale, prepare them for move-ins, obtain new residents' signatures on paperwork, and provide community orientationAssist in maintaining an active and effective social media presence for the property to enhance visibility and engagementPromote resident satisfaction and retention by promptly responding to complaints, questions, and requests and taking appropriate actions to resolve service issuesConducts all functions necessary to close the sale, including making appointments, generating new leads, conducting tours, maintaining show rooms, and any follow-up necessaryUtilize marketing strategies to ensure traffic within the limitations of the Marketing Budget and the Marketing Plan(i.e. competitive rental rates, referrals, promotions, locators, and outreach)Projects a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognitionFocuses on securing resident retention in ways such as planning resident functions (i.e. parties, contests, etc.); attend after hours functions and participate as a host as neededCompletes all necessary paperwork for generating a lease, move-in, check-out, and other peak periods in a timely mannerAttends weekly and daily goal setting meetings as appropriateCollaborate with the property maintenance team to ensure prompt responses and completion of resident service requests in line with the company's standardsEducation And ExperienceAssociate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMicrosoft Office, Property Management SoftwareQualificationsPhysical Requirements:May be required to sit for extended periods of time while working at a deskMay be required to climb stairsMust be able to read documents, computer screens and dataMust be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computerMay occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 20 poundsMust be able to use mobile devices and applications for work-related tasksWork EnvironmentThis role is based on site, primarily in an office setting but may require at times that the employee spends some time outside with exposure to the elementsThe office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractionsA flexible schedule is required and hours include weekdays, nights, and weekends (including Saturdays and Sundays) as needed to meet business needsRPM Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer.This job title is associated with Leasing Agent, Leasing Consultant, Sales Consultant, Leasing Specialist, Sales Specialist, and/or Marketing SpecialistCompany InformationJoin RPM Living and experience exceptional benefits designed to enhance your life.
