This role will work closely with Business Analysts, customers, technical teams, and end users to design, develop, enhance, and support custom applications, reporting solutions, integrations, and data-driven systems for Manufacturing, Engineering, and related business functions.This position is intended for a senior technical contributor and technical lead with potential growth into a manager role. The Senior Software Engineer will provide technical guidance, mentor team members, support project execution, and help drive continuous improvement across applications, processes, and systems.Because this role supports global stakeholders, occasional meetings outside normal business hours may be required to accommodate teams in different time zones.Requirements/QualificationsDesign, develop, test, debug, implement, and support custom enterprise applications for Manufacturing, Engineering, and related business functionsDevelop and support .NET applications, reporting solutions, and ETL processes for manufacturing and engineering organizations.Work with Business Analysts, customers, technical users, and non-technical users to understand requirements, evaluate options, and drive effective solutionsServe as a technical lead for enterprise application initiatives, including solution design, development standards, testing, implementation, and supportSupport multiple domestic and international sites with scalable, reliable, and maintainable application solutionsPrepare functional and technical documentation and provide regular project updatesUse internal tracking systems to log requests, issues, enhancements, and projectsFollow Information Systems policies and procedures related to development, project management, and change controlManage or support project activities involving scope, schedule, quality, cost, resources, and stakeholdersProvide coaching, feedback, mentoring, and technical guidance to team membersDelegate work appropriately, monitor progress, and support successful execution of team deliverablesBuild productive internal and external working relationships to support continuous improvementSupervise assigned individuals at the Gresham FAB4 facilityRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another related technical disciplineMinimum of 5+ years of software development experienceExperience designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting business or enterprise applicationsExperience working with Business Analysts, customers, and end users to gather requirements, analyze needs, and deliver software-based solutionsExperience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience with relational databases, SQL, stored procedures, and data modeling conceptsExperience creating functional and technical documentationDemonstrated ability to provide technical guidance, mentor others, and lead project or team activitiesAbility to work on-site full time at the Gresham, Oregon locationAbility to occasionally participate in meetings outside normal business hours to support global teams and stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsSemiconductor manufacturing experienceFrontend semiconductor manufacturing experience is strongly preferredExperience supporting manufacturing execution, engineering, production, reporting, automation, or data systems in a semiconductor FAB environmentExperience supporting enterprise applications across multiple sites or global business unitsExperience as a technical lead, senior developer, team lead, or supervisorProject management experience, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, stakeholder communication, and execution trackingExperience with Microsoft O365, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, Team Foundation Server, or similar toolsTechnical SkillsThe Senior Software Engineer should have experience in several of the following areas:Application Development: Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, MVC, Web API, WCF, and web servicesWeb Technologies: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML/HTML5, CSS3, and web design methodologiesDatabase Development: SQL, stored procedures, relational database design, Oracle, SQL Server, and data modelingReporting and Data Integration: SSRS, SSIS, reporting solutions, and ETL processesArchitecture and Tools: Service-oriented design, Microsoft O365, Team Foundation Server or similar source control/work tracking tools, and project management toolsCore CompetenciesStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Ability to maintain a “big picture” perspective while managing technical detailsAbility to understand user requirements and complex manufacturing topicsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively to develop innovative solutionsAbility to work effectively with both technical and non-technical user communitiesAbility to lead discussions, coach others, delegate work, monitor progress, and support team successAbility to make sound decisions, communicate direction, and support continuous improvementDemonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to team and organizational successWork EnvironmentThis is an on-site position based in Gresham, Oregon.
