Oracle EPBCS Architect

Overview In this role, you will architect, implement, and optimize Oracle EPBCS solutions to support enterprise planning and budgeting. You will collaborate with Finance and FP&A to translate requirements into scalable cloud-based planning models. You’ll drive architecture decisions, data flows, and automation to improve performance and decision-making. This is a hands-on leadership role shaping multi-domain planning initiatives and leveraging Oracle Planning Cloud capabilities to deliver business value. ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of EPBCS across Financials, Workforce, Capital Planning, Projects, and Strategic ModelingCollaborate with Finance/FP&A to design budgeting, forecasting, rolling forecast, and long-range planning solutionsDefine solution architecture: dimensional design, cube strategy, metadata, security, business rules, and inter-module data flowsDevelop and optimize Groovy scripts, Calculation Manager rules, and automated planning processes for performanceDesign inbound/outbound integrations using Data Management, Data Exchange, REST APIs, and EPM AutomateIntegrate EPBCS with Oracle ERP Cloud and other enterprise applicationsEstablish architecture standards, governance, and best practices for Planning Cloud deploymentsLeverage EPM AI features (Predictive Planning, IPM Insights, Agent Studio) to enhance planning accuracyProduce technical designs, integration specs, config workbooks, and runbooksSupport workshops, architecture reviews, PoCs, and client presentations Key requirements12+ years in Oracle EPM solutions with hands-on EPBCS/PBCSLed multiple full lifecycle EPBCS implementations in Architect/Lead Consultant roleStrong expertise in: Oracle EPBCS / Planning Cloud, Groovy Scripting, Calculation Manager, Business Rules Development, Data Management / Data Exchange, EPM Automate, REST APIs, Smart ViewFunctional knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, driver-based planningExperience designing scalable planning/forecasting models for enterprisesExcellent communication and stakeholder management to translate requirements into technical solutionscommunicationstakeholder managementleadershipOracle EPBCS / Planning CloudGroovy ScriptingCalculation Manager
