CTE Health Occupations Teacher
CTE ALLIED HEALTH EDUCATION LICENSURECandidates must hold or be eligible to hold a teaching license in the CTE Health Occupations/Registered Nurse license area (720).Non-licensed, provisional candidates are eligible based upon holding a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in nursing with a minimum 2.7 GPA and three years of industry-related work experience within the past ten years. Non-degreed Registered Nurses (diploma graduates from a state or nationally accredited institution) are eligible for a provisional license with three years of industry-related work experience within the past ten years.Eligibility for a provisional license must be established prior to a contract offer.Candidates who hold or are eligible to hold a teaching license in the CTE Non-RN Allied Heath/Medical Professional license area (721) will also be considered.Non-licensed provisional candidates for the CTE Non-RN Allied Heath/Medical Professional license area are eligible based up holding a Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in a non-RN, Allied Health medical field from a state or nationally accredited institution. Applicants must also have an active NC license, registration, or certification clear of any restrictions in the same field as the educational degree.
