In this role, you'll act as the voice of the user, partner closely with engineering and cross-functional teams, and ensure product initiatives drive real business value.If you're excited by ownership, collaboration, and building products that actually get used, this role is for you.What You'll Be DoingWhy join us?BenefitsMultiple medical plan options through Anthem Blue CrossDental & vision insurance (including orthodontia and annual exams)Pet benefit program with savings on vet care and productsPaid vacation (accruing up to 120+ hours/year with rollover and cap)Paid holidays annuallyCoverage for spouses/domestic partners and dependents under 26Benefits begin on the first of the month after your hire dateJob DetailsRole: Product OwnerLocation: San Diego, CA 92101 (Onsite at Symphony Towers)What you will be doing?Own and manage the product backlog, including defining, prioritizing, and refining user stories and acceptance criteriaServe as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure clarity and alignmentTranslate high-level business goals into detailed, actionable product requirementsPartner with engineers, designers, analysts, and operations teams to shape product features and improvementsDrive the full product lifecycle — from ideation through launch and iterationAnalyze user feedback, trends, and internal metrics to inform product decisionsDefine KPIs and track product performance using quantitative and qualitative insightsFacilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremoniesCommunicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to leadership and cross-functional partnersIdentify opportunities to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and scalabilityAdvocate for users in prioritization and decision-makingEnsure product initiatives remain aligned with company strategy and goalsSkills you should have:Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience3–7+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or related rolesStrong working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologiesProven experience owning backlogs and executing against product roadmapsExcellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiencesStrong analytical mindset with experience using data to guide decisions (SQL, analytics platforms, A/B testing, etc.)Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and attention to detailExceptional organization and project management skills; comfortable juggling multiple initiativesExperience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, operations, and client-facing teamsFamiliarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar platformsCustomer-first mindset with a passion for solving real problemsExperience in eCommerce, SaaS, or technology-driven productsExposure to data visualization or analytics productsBasic technical literacy in modern web applications and APIsInterested in hearing more?
