Collectively, Insight Health System hospitals provide nearly 100,000 patient days annually.Location: Insight Institute of Neurosurgery & Neurosurgery (IINN), Flint, MichiganPosition Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Position's AvailableCompensation: Competitive pay based on experienceBenefits for Our Full-Time Team Members:Highly competitive salary (based on experience and schedule)401K immediate vesting and employer matchingComprehensive health, dental, vision insuranceGenerous PTO + paid holidays + sick leaveShort-term & long-term disability, Life Insurance (employer-paid)Optional: Accident, Critical Illness, AD&D, Hospital IndemnityCME/licensure support availableBenefits for Our Part-Time Team Members:Highly competitive salary (based on experience and schedule)401K immediate vesting and employer matchingGenerous PTO + paid holidays + sick leaveCME/licensure support availableAs a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Insight, you’ll be responsible for the full scope of anesthesia care, working independently.Core Case Types:GI procedures (e.g., colonoscopies, endoscopies)Pain management injectionsManipulations Under Anesthesia (MUAs)MRI sedation casesThese procedures are primarily outpatient, lower acuity, and offer CRNAs a more predictable, patient-focused work environment.Duties Include:Conduct pre-op evaluations and develop anesthesia plansAdminister general, regional, or local anesthesiaSupport airway and life function management during proceduresComplete timely and accurate EMR documentationCollaborate with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomesProvides quality patient care considering age-specific, developmental, and cultural needs through competent anesthesia practice.Assembles necessary supplies, drugs, and equipment for each case, and tests equipment to ensure proper functioning for surgical procedures.Reviews patients’ medical records to determine types of procedures to be performed and evaluate patients medical status.Establishes or confirms the presence of appropriate intravenous access.Identifies and manages emergency situations, including assessment of adequacy of recovery or antagonism of muscle relaxants, narcotics, and other agents; implements appropriate management techniques.Carefully documents all activities on the anesthetic record or patients’ medical record.Any other duties as assignedQualifications:Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program (Master’s or Doctorate)Current RN and CRNA licensure in the State of Michigan (or eligibility)BLS and ACLS certification requiredNew graduates and experienced CRNAs are encouraged to apply!OSHA Exposure Classification: Job Category I Jobs in which required tasks routinely involve a potential for mucous membrane or skin contact with blood, body fluids or tissues.
