Commercial Gathering, Processing, & Transportation Manager/Director
Position Summary:The Caturus platform was founded by Kimmeridge, an alternative asset manager focused on the energy sector, with subsequent additional investment by Mubadala Energy. Caturus is building an independent, fully integrated natural gas and LNG export platform in the U.S. through a combination of its upstream operations and Commonwealth LNG, a 9.5 Mtpa LNG export terminal in southwestern Louisiana. Together, they will provide low-cost energy on demand with the lowest carbon footprint.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Gathering, Processing and Transportation (“GP&T”) Manager/Director to join our team. This position negotiates and oversees the agreements governing the end-to-end movement of Caturus produced hydrocarbons from origin to destination along with the service requirements of Commonwealth LNG, ensuring least-cost, reliable services accessing appealing supply and end use markets. This Commercial GP&T Manager/Director integrates production plans and market requirements with gathering s, processing, and transportation services across multiple production basins and LNG supply options. The role requires strong commercial judgment, technical understanding, and leadership skills to deliver value to company stakeholders. The Commercial GP&T Manager/Director will be based in Houston, TX and report to the Head of Marketing.Key Accountabilities:Negotiate, manage and ensure company and counterparty compliance with GP&T agreements from wellhead to ultimate market.Drive trading performance, optimizing profitability, and influencing commercial strategy through optionality integrated into managed agreements, ensuring internal understanding and recognition.Develop and implement transportation and logistics strategies aligned with business objectives.Oversee compliance with and utilization of GP&T agreements, including coordination with upstream and downstream contacts.Collect and analyze commercial requirements from Marketing Commonwealth LNG and Operations to determine needs.Plan and supervise service provider activities, ensuring correct routing, load planning, and regulatory compliance.Optimize routing to reduce costs and improve realizations.Prepare and manage GP&T budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing efficiency improvements.Qualifications: Education, Certificates, and Licenses:Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or Mathematics required.Experience: 7+ years of experience in Commercial GP&T; 3+ years of leadership experience required.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Advanced analytical and modeling competency.Strong technical knowledge and skills.Clear, concise written and verbal communication.Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships.Ability to make effective proposals based upon individual analysis.Knowledge of industry standard contracting provisions along with a general understanding of the US pipeline network.
