Respiratory Therapist
Complete Care is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to oversee all respiratory-related services, including CPAP, BiPAP, and oxygen patients. Reporting directly to the President, this role is critical to ensuring excellent patient outcomes and compliance with healthcare standards in respiratory care.Key Responsibilities:Manage and coordinate the setup, education, and follow-up of CPAP, BiPAP, and oxygen patients.Evaluate patient needs and ensure the appropriate respiratory therapy equipment and supplies are provided.Train patients and caregivers on the safe and effective use of respiratory equipment.Monitor patient compliance and progress, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans.Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.Serve as the primary clinical liaison for respiratory care within the organization.Provide ongoing clinical support to staff and contribute to training and development.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of respiratory care practices, equipment, and industry changes.Qualifications:Certified or Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) in the state of Alabama.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a respiratory care setting, preferably in home medical equipment (HME) or durable medical equipment (DME).Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.Strong clinical knowledge of respiratory therapy, CPAP/BiPAP protocols, and oxygen therapy.Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Skills:Experience working in a home health or DME environment.Familiarity with insurance documentation requirements for respiratory equipment.Bilingual a plus.Why Join Us:When you join the Complete Care team, you will do more than join the most trusted Durable Medical Equipment (DME) supplier in Northeast Alabama, you will impact the lives of others within your own community.Our employees are compassionate, caring, and friendly and provide comfort to those in need.
