The Center is committed to accessible, inclusive care and uses remote services to reach clients who may not have local access to specialized psychological support.Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Psychologist or psychology fellow at The Merthe-Grayson Center for Psychology and Wellness. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing individual psychotherapy and counseling via secure telehealth platforms, conducting intake evaluations, and developing collaborative treatment plans. The role also involves administering and interpreting psychological assessments, documenting sessions and progress notes in a timely and compliant manner, and coordinating care with other healthcare or community providers as needed. The Psychologist or fellow will participate in case consultations, supervision (if applicable), and team meetings, and will stay current with evidence-based practices and relevant research. Additional tasks may include contributing to program development, psychoeducational materials, or workshops that support client wellness and community outreach.QualificationsStrong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, including knowledge of evidence-based treatments and ethical standards of practice.Clinical skills in Counseling and psychotherapy, with experience providing individual therapy to diverse populations.Competence in Psychological Assessment, including selection, administration, scoring, and interpretation of commonly used measures.Ability to collaborate with professionals in related fields such as Medicine and other healthcare disciplines to support integrated care.Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or counseling psychology or current enrollment/completion of a psychology fellowship with appropriate supervision.Eligible for licensure or already licensed as a Psychologist (or equivalent credential for a supervised fellow) in the relevant jurisdiction for telehealth practice.Comfort with remote work, including use of electronic health records, telehealth platforms, and secure communication tools.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills, with a commitment to cultural humility, inclusion, and trauma-informed care.
