What We’re Looking For Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (company vehicle provided) 3-5+ years of experience in apartment or facilities maintenance Strong maintenance skills and professional communication with residents Ability to travel between properties in a company vehicle Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working at heights over 9 feet Self-starter and team player with strong time-management and problem-solving skills Ability to use ladders, access confined spaces, and perform a variety of maintenance tasks What You’ll Be Doing All of our maintenance positions are mobile tech positions Perform hands-on apartment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting Diagnose and repair electrical and plumbing issues Repair and install water heaters and appliances Complete drywall, texture, and paint repairs Replace wall heaters Complete unit turnovers and prepare apartments for new residents Maintain property curb appeal: leaf blowing, pressure washing, and general detailing Clean and maintain breezeways, common areas, parking lots, and dumpster areas Remove graffiti and maintain exterior surfaces Install and remove seasonal items (spigot and vent covers, etc.) Adjust and replace outdoor lighting, emergency sign bulbs, and timers Perform fence repairs and other minor carpentry or construction tasks Organize and maintain maintenance shops and inventory Properly dispose of paint, oil, and hazardous materials Communicate with residents and distribute notices as needed Report maintenance concerns, safety issues, and lease violations to your supervisor Join a Team That Values You At Onyx Management Group, we take pride in our properties, our tenants, and — most importantly — our people.
