Associate Professor / Assistant Professor — Pediatric Urology

This is an Academic Urologic position with Norton Children's Medical Group, affiliated with the University of Louisville School of Medicine with full academic appointment within the Department of Urology at the University of Louisville. We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained pediatric urologist for a full or part-time faculty position. The position will allow flexibility in role development, personalization of clinical practice, and will accommodate protected time for research and/or academic enrichment pursuit for new Fellowship graduates and more established pediatric urologist candidates (leadership, quality improvement and patient safety, development of multidisciplinary programs) in a growing division.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality pediatric urology clinical care, including outpatient, inpatient, and operative servicesMentor medical students and residentsSupport advancement of research, education, and clinical missions in collaboration with our current facultyRequired QualificationsMD or DO degreeBoard certified or board eligible in Urology and subspecialty fellowship training in Pediatric UrologyDemonstrated excellence in clinical care and track record of scholarly productivity or leadership in clinical programs, education, or research appropriate to the desired rank and trackEligibility for medical licensure in the statePreferred QualificationsExperience with da Vinci robot-assisted surgeryStrong record of mentorship and contributions to academic citizenshipAbout Norton Children's Medical GroupNorton Children's Medical Group, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, is the pediatric provider division of Norton Medical Group.
