Senior AWS Cloud Developer

We're looking for a Senior AWS Cloud Developer to join a high-impact team building scalable backend systems for financial planning, investing, and retirement platforms. If you enjoy modernizing legacy systems and working on cutting-edge cloud solutions, this role is for you! About the Role You'll be working on Java-based backend applications that power digital financial experiences. This role involves designing and building scalable, high-performance microservices , contributing across the full SDLC, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. Must-Have Skills 8+ years of software engineering experience Strong expertise in Java (11+), Streams, Data Structures & Algorithms Hands-on with Spring Boot & REST API development (coding test included) Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging tools like Kafka / SQS Strong database skills – SQL + NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB) AWS provisioning experience with services like SQS, EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Kinesis Knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes Experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch Nice to Have Experience with Terraform / CloudFormation What We're Looking For Someone who can lead from the front , contribute to system design, drive engineering best practices, and collaborate effectively across teams while delivering high-quality software.
