Item Master Data Specialist

Position SummaryThe Master Data Specialist is responsible for creating, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy of SKU and item master data across ERP and WMS systems. This role verifies and updates product attributes, packaging, dimensions, costing, and vendor details to support operational and financial integrity. The specialist ensures data quality by performing audits, resolving discrepancies, and applying established data standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role coordinates item setup requests, gathers required information, and supports system changes, testing, and updates related to item data workflows to ensure reliable and efficient business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain accurate item master data in ERP/WMS systemsVerify and update product attributes, dimensions, packaging, costing and vendor details.Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing audits, resolving errors, and following data standardsProcess item setup, cost changes, and maintenance requests and coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather required information.Participate in continuous improvement activities related to data accuracySupport system implementation, changes, testing and updates related to item data workflows.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone.Organizational CompetenciesMust be able to perform job responsibilities in a professional manner, consistent with the needs of our internal and external customers and in accordance with all policies, procedures, and manuals.
